The Let­ter­ing is worked onto the Front and Back pieces at the end, over the Dc Band.

You can down­load the let­ter­ing used from our web­site at www.sim­ply­cro­chet­mag.com You may need to go up a hook size on the Dc Band to match the ten­sion of the rest of the jumper. You choose how you’re go­ing to be­have at the of­fice party with this cheeky re­versible jumper. Easy to hook up and fun to wear!

BACK/FRONT MAKE 2

Us­ing Fuch­sia Sparkle or Red Sparkle, ch90 (98: 106: 114).

Row 1 (RS) Tr in fourth ch from hook (skipped ch count as tr), tr in each ch to end, turn. [88 (96: 104: 112) sts]

Row 2 Ch2 (counts as first st), (BPtr around next st, FPtr around next st) to last st, BPtr around last st, turn.

Rows 3-4 Repeat Row 2.

Row 5 Ch3 (counts as first tr through­out), tr in each st to end, turn.

Repeat Row 5 un­til the Jumper mea­sures 32cm, end­ing with a WS row.

DC BAND

Row 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st through­out), dc in bl of each st to end, turn. [88 (96: 104: 112) sts]

Rows 2-19 Ch1, dc in each st to end, turn. Row 20 Ch1, dc in fl of each st to end, turn.

YOKE AND NECKLINE RIB

Row 1 (RS) Ch3, tr in each st to end, turn. Repeat Row 1 un­til work mea­sures 54.5 (56.5: 58.5: 60.5)cm, end­ing with a WS row.

Next row (RS) Ch2 (counts as first st), (BPtr around next st, FPtr around next st) to last st, BPtr around last st, turn.

Repeat last row once more.

Fas­ten off.

SLEEVES MAKE 2

Ch36 (38: 38: 40).

Rows 1-2 Repeat Rows 1-2 of Back/Front. [34 (36: 36: 38) sts]

Row 3 (RS) Ch3, tr in each st to end, turn.

Row 4 Repeat Row 3.

Row 5 Ch3, tr in st at base of ch, tr in each st to last st, 2tr in last st, turn. [36 (38: 38: 40) sts]

Row 6 Ch3, tr in each st to end, turn. Repeat Rows 5-6 a fur­ther 11 (10: 13: 12) times. [58 (58: 64: 64) sts]

Repeat Row 3 un­til Sleeve mea­sures 44cm.

Fas­ten off.

NAUGHTY/NICE

Copy the Let­ter­ing (see Notes) onto a sheet of sta­biliser and po­si­tion over the Dc Band on the Front/Back piece.

Us­ing Snow Sparkle, em­broi­der chain stitches across the Let­ter­ing (see be­low).

To chain st: thread yarn onto a nee­dle, se­cure yarn on the WS, bring the nee­dle up to the RS and back into the same hole, pull gen­tly, leav­ing a small loop on the RS, *work­ing in the di­rec­tion of the Let­ter­ing bring the nee­dle back to the front, pass the nee­dle through the loop, bring it back through the same hole, pull gen­tly leav­ing a small loop; repeat from * across.

Fas­ten off.

Repeat the Let­ter­ing on the other Front/Back piece so that you have Naughty on one side and Nice on the other, then soak the sta­biliser un­til it dis­solves.

You could sur­face cro­chet the let­ter­ing or add let­ter ap­pliqués if you pre­fer.

TO MAKE UP

Sew the Front and Back to­gether at the shoul­ders, leav­ing the cen­tral 25cm open for the neck.

Mark the cen­tre top of the Sleeve, align with the shoul­der seam, and sew to the Front and Back. Repeat with sec­ond Sleeve.

Sew the sleeve and side seams to­gether. Weave in all ends.
