We loved it... WEALD OF KENT

Simply Knitting - - Do It -

What? The Weald of Kent Handmade Show, held in Penshurst Place, has it all. From a play area for the kids, to food and entertainment on tap, giving you all the sustenance and encouragement needed to shop for quality handmade items.

What did we do? We meandered around the many stalls and listened to The Haywood Sisters sing.

What did we buy? We purchased silk scarves as Christmas gifts and gathered handfuls of inspiration at all the brilliant workshops.

Why you should go This one-stop handmade craft event is one of the biggest in the UK. It’s well organised, inspiring and a real day-trip out. We recommend booking into a workshop to get hands-on experience of a new craft.

What’s up next? 2018’s dates have yet to be released, but this year’s event ran from 8-9 September. Visit www.thecraftshows.co.uk/kent/ spring for updates.
