TENSION

Yarn used knits as DK to this tension: 23 sts and 33 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over patt using 4mm needles

Cast on 110 sts using 3 mm needles. Work in g st for 9 rows, ending with WS facing for next row.

Next row ( WS) K14, kfb, (K19, kfb) 4 times, K15. [115 sts]

BEGIN PATTERN

Change to 4mm needles.

Row 1 (RS), K9, *P1, K7; rep from * to last 10 sts, P1, K9.

Row 2 K5, P3, *K1, P1, K1, P5; rep from * to last 11 sts, K1, P1, K1, P3, K5.

Row 3 K7, *P1, K3; rep from * to last 4 sts, K4.

Row 4 K5, P1, *K1, P5, K1, P1; rep from * to last 5 sts, K5.

Row 5 K5, *P1, K7; rep from * to last 6 sts, P1, K5.

Row 6 As Row 4.

Row 7 As Row 3.

Row 8 As Row 2.

These 8 rows form patt.

Cont in patt until Blanket meas approx. 59cm, ending after Row 1 or 5 with WS facing for next row.

Change to 3 mm needles.

Next row ( WS) K14, k2tog, (K19, k2tog) 4 times, K15. [110 sts]

Work in g st for 9 rows, ending with WS facing for next row.

Cast off knitwise (on WS).

FINISHING

Press carefully following instructions on the ball band.
