BOOT TOP­PERS (MAKE 2)

Cast on 82 (98: 114) sts us­ing 3.25mm nee­dles and Yarn A. Work in rib as fol­lows:

Row 1 (RS) *K2, P2; rep from * to last 2 sts, K2.

Row 2 *P2, K2; rep from * to last 2 sts, P2.

Rep these 2 rows un­til work mea­sures 2cm, end­ing with a WS row and mea­sured from the cast-on edge. Change to 4mm nee­dles.

Row 1 (RS) Work Row 1 of Chart, work­ing 10 (12: 14) 8 st patt reps. Row 2 (WS) Work Row 2 of Chart, work­ing 10 (12: 14) 8 st patt reps. Cont as set, work­ing all 24 rows of Chart. Break off Yarn B.

Change to 3.25mm nee­dles and work­ing in Yarn A only, work in rib as be­fore for 10cm, end­ing with a WS row and mea­sured from the start of the rib sec­tion.

Cast off in pat­tern.

MAK­ING UP

Block Fair Isle sec­tion, leav­ing rib sec­tions un­blocked. Sew side seams to­gether match­ing pat­terns. Weave in ends.
