Note Use the in­tar­sia method, with sep­a­rate strands of yarn for each colour and twist­ing colours to­gether where they meet. You may pre­fer to work the eye and nose of the bear in du­pli­cate stitch af­ter com­plet­ing the chart. If so, work the eye in Yarn A so that you can iden­tify where it should go eas­ily later.

Cont as set un­til you have worked all 81 rows of Chart, end­ing af­ter a RS row.

Cont straight in st st and Yarn A only for 7 more rows, end­ing af­ter a WS row.

Cast off 2 sts at beg of next row and purl to end.
