Last 2 rows set moss stitch.

Cont in moss stitch un­til 52 rows have been worked.

Work 1 row in st st.

Change to Yarn A.

MAK­ING UP

Place the four strips to­gether, start­ing with a Strip One at the lower left-hand cor­ner. Sew to­gether us­ing mat­tress stitch.

Weave in any loose ends.

SIDE EDGES

(BOTH ALIKE) Us­ing a 4mm cir­cu­lar nee­dle and Yarn B, pick up and knit 222 sts.

Knit 4 rows.

Cast off.

TOP AND BOT­TOM EDGES

(BOTH ALIKE)

Us­ing a 4mm cir­cu­lar nee­dle and Yarn B, pick up and knit 176 sts, in­clud­ing the sts on the side edges.

Knit 4 rows.

Cast off.

Block and press edges, un­der a cloth.

HOW TO USE OUR CHARTS

Start at the bot­tom right-hand cor­ner. Read right side rows from right to left and wrong side rows from left to right. A row of squares rep­re­sents a row of knit­ting.
