One of our most celebrated acting exports, ANTHONY LAPAGLIA, is returning home to Australia to film new SBS drama Sunshine. He will be joined by MELANIE LYNSKEY, the Kiwi who starred alongside KATE WINSLET in their breakout feature film Heavenly Creatures and has gone on to a successful career in Hollywood with roles in Two and a Half Men and Togetherness.

The four-part drama is set in Melbourne and follows a South Sudanese basketball player aspiring to play at a US college when he becomes involved in a police investigation. LaPaglia will star as his coach and Lynskey will play a lawyer. The all-star cast also includes Jack Irish’s KIM GYNGELL and Love Child’s TIARNIE COUPLAND.
