Married at last!
PERSEVERANCE PAYS OFF FOR Bill WHO FINALLY MARRIES Brooke, THE WOMAN OF HIS DREAMS
Suddenly, Ridge interrupts with a final plea to Brooke. He’ll wait for her at the mansion today, by the fountain.
Nothing can burst Brooke and Bill’s love bubble now that they’ve resolved to get married, not even Ridge’s persistent pleas to Brooke to change her mind and marry him instead. Despite a single tear slipping down her cheek, Brooke stays committed to her fiancé as Ridge vows to fight for her, telling her, “You will always be my Logan.”
Rejoining Bill (Don Diamont) and swatting away his smug desire to tell Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) actually proposed to him, Brooke urges him to focus on them instead of her ex. Bill loves nothing more, reiterating that he would wait for Brooke forever and now they’re fulfilling their destiny.
Nevertheless, Brooke’s battling beaus can’t resist locking horns again during a chance meeting at Il Giardino.
Scoffing at Ridge’s vow never to give up on Brooke, who’ll still have feelings for him if she does marry Bill Spencer, Bill shoos him away to “go hem a skirt”, amused at Brooke’s useless attempt to referee them. All she wants is for the men to make peace for RJ’s (Anthony Turpel) sake but Bill insists he’ll teach his stepson the one thing Ridge can’t: how to be a gentleman. Switching the conversation to the wedding, Bill stuns Brooke by declaring that they’re getting married immediately. He’s had enough of waiting.
Announcing that the wedding will be today, Bill makes plans for the occasion, telling his sons the ceremony will be a simple one focusing on what he and his bride mean to each other.
Brooke also looks forward to the occasion until Quinn (Rena Sofer) tries to dampen her excitement. Pleading Ridge’s case, Quinn demands to know if Brooke still has feelings for Ridge but Brooke turns on her, rehashing the betrayal that she and Ridge committed. Suddenly, Ridge interrupts with a final plea to Brooke. He’ll wait for her at her mansion today, by the fountain in the front yard, hoping that she shows up to marry him. “Marry me. Be my wife,” Ridge says as he leaves her to her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Bill surveys the wedding preparations as he waits for the ceremony to start, confident that Brooke will marry him even though Quinn warns him that Brooke was with Ridge earlier. Soon, both men wait pensively at the appointed wedding venues for the bride to appear.
Finally, Brooke does appear, in Bill’s doorway, stunning in her wedding gown. The ceremony begins as Brooke vows to love Bill as fearlessly as he loves her
for the rest of their lives. They are soon pronounced husband and wife. Soon after, the newlyweds are aboard the Spencer jet making love, with Bill telling Brooke that the love he sees in her eyes for him is almost enough to make him a good person. But Brooke doubts that will ever happen as the two look towards their romantic honeymoon in Paris and the blissful future that lies ahead of them.
Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) exchange vows, despite Ridge begging Brooke to choose him instead and attempts by Quinn to dampen Brooke’s happiness.
