It looks lIke Dass has worked out who the kIller Is, and all the evIdence poInts to Daniel, In the explosIve, revealIng fInale!
Harrow and Dass career full-tilt towards the epic denouement of the River Bones case – can things ever be the same between them?
He’s hot, charming and has sex appeal to spare, but Dr Daniel Harrow is also one very dangerous man.
Time’s finally running out for sexy hot doc Daniel (Ioan Gruffudd), who’s been on the run for months as the investigation into the mysterious death of Robert Quinn in the Brisbane River has closed in.
And in the upcoming finale of the Aussie drama Harrow, the investigation reveals the details of the tangled web of Daniel’s world that has him embroiled in the scandal.
The death of Robert Quinn is very much a Harrow family affair, as it turns out the evidence has been tampered with by just about everyone within the inner circle – Daniel, his ex-wife Stephanie (Anna Lise Phillips) and their daughter Fern (Ella Newton). What binds them all disturbingly close to Quinn is that he was another former husband of Stephanie.
Despite Daniel doing everything he can to protect his family by throwing the Quinn investigation off the scent as much as possible, truth is about to finally win out.
And that’s all due to the unrelenting determination of one smart cop, Dass (Mirrah Foulkes), who’s managed to swerve around all Daniel’s obstacles and see the facts for what they really are. She’s finally forced to draw the conclusions she’s never wanted to entertain: Daniel is well and truly up to his neck in it!
This is easily the toughest professional situation Dass has ever found herself in, as she and Daniel have been steaming it up in a hot and sexy romance for months. He’s the man of her dreams and they’re compatible in almost every way.
But now Dass is forced to confront a troubling question
– just how deeply is Daniel involved in this catastrophic mess, and more importantly, why?
While Daniel has a squeaky-clean police record, these events make him a key suspect. Dass, in what is an emotionally charged situation, now finds herself seriously doubting the man she loves.
She also wonders why he has never, in all the months of their red-hot affair, confided the truth to her in an effort to finally clear up the situation. The more evidence that comes to light, the more obvious it is that Daniel’s done his best to throw her investigations off the track at every opportunity he’s had. Not just emotionally drained by what she’s finding out about the man she’s been sharing her bed with, Dass also feels betrayed. He’s been so deceitful as he stood in the way of her doing her job, setting Dass up in the hope she’d fail – all in the name of protecting himself.
This brings out a new fury in Dass about what’s really been going on in her relationship. In a very dark moment, Dass also wonders if their affair was ever for real or if it was another trick that Daniel pulled to distract her from getting her job done.
Dass is seriously shocked by how duplicitous Daniel has been, and so decides to take the investigation to a new level. She moves to formally interview Daniel, cornering him with question after question that the not-so-honest doctor can’t answer truthfully without revealing his secret.
While she’s thinking the very worst right now of Daniel, and with all the evidence pointing at what seems his very obvious guilt, she has a hunch that something is not right with one key piece of evidence. When she manages to uncover CCTV footage from the night Quinn went missing, it reveals far more than she could’ve imagined...
It also proves to be the missing piece in this messy, shocking and convoluted jigsaw. But it’s when Dass works out how all the pieces tie in with each other that it delivers the shock of the killer’s true identity. That is, until a final twist threatens to unravel all that she’s strived to uncover...
