Who’s HURTING Hope?
SOMEONE’S GANGING UP ON Hope, SENDING A THREATENING MESSAGE AND ENDANGERING HER LIFE!
Since returning to LA in January, Hope hasn’t wasted any time in unveiling a bold new attitude. Abandoning her old sunny demeanour, Hope appears stronger and surer, with decisive stances towards everything that’s around her.
Most recently, Hope (Annika Noelle) played hardball when she heard about Maya’s (Karla Mosley) decision to sack new intern Emma (Nia Sioux). She’d apparently found her sneaking about, engaging in corporate espionage by photographing the designs from the Hope for the Future collection! Despite agreeing with Maya that sneaky spying has long been a threat to Forrester Creations, and that she doesn’t trust the fact that Emma’s Justin Barber’s (Aaron D. Spears) niece, Hope eventually overturned Maya’s decision and reinstated Emma, bluntly telling Maya that she overstepped her authority in sacking the girl. She also added a warning for Emma that she’ll be watching her because she trusts nobody associated with Bill (Don Diamont). In the process, Hope didn’t realise she’d deeply offended Maya and Emma, who both felt she was trying to control them.
What’s more, Hope soon manages to offend others when the ever-vigilant Pam (Alley Mills) and Charlie (Dick Christie) spy her in intimate conversation with Liam. After
eavesdropping on what’s being said, it’s clear to Pam that Hope is blatantly trying to sabotage Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reunion – and she won’t stand for it, telling Charlie she’s dismayed at Hope’s behaviour and how untrustworthy she’s turning out. With Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy also becoming increasingly upset by Hope’s continued involvement with Liam, it’s plainly obvious that Hope’s unknowingly upsetting those around her at an alarming rate.
That continues during a staff meeting at Forrester Creations called after Hope hires Sally (Courtney Hope) to work on her collection with her. Instead of effusively welcoming Sally to the team, Hope only succeeds in unnerving her staff when she warns them to keep close watch on Sally and Emma for any signs of corporate skullduggery!
With Hope unaware of the offence she’s causing, one unidentified but aggrieved party soon strikes out, sending her a threatening message on the Hope for the Future website. Soon seeing the message while reviewing the website with Thorne (Ingo Rademacher), a shaken Liam swings into action and deletes the acerbic note, brainstorming with Thorne ways to deal with the situation and protect her. Before long they’re compiling a list of possible perpetrators, with a worried Thorne zeroing in on Maya when he catches her angrily ranting about Hope. Thorne calms her down, not wanting to believe his sister-in-law could do Hope any harm.
Another possible suspect emerges in Sally when she vents her frustrations about Hope to Wyatt (Darin Brooks), cattily complaining that it’s obvious Hope doesn’t like her or trust her. Like Thorne, Wyatt appeases Sally for now... but it’s clear her anger won’t be assuaged easily.
Whoever’s targeting Hope, they’ve made their grievances with her public by throwing down the gauntlet, leaving a potentially dangerous threat hanging over her head!
