Best Integrated Home Level I

Bridger Automation

Sound+Image - - AWARDS | CEDIA 2018 FINALISTS -

As with Bridger’s other finalist in this category, this project utilises simpler interfaces with an emphasis on soft, warm lighting scenes that can be called up with the touch of a single button on an iPad.

HVAC control is integrated into the home’s systems, as are security and motorised shades. This home faces a famous golf course, and all window and door coverings visible to the course have depths of shading, from blackout to sheer. Curtains and blinds are also automated to react to sunrise and sunset.

Automation events include an ‘Away’ mode, a ‘Welcome Home’ scene, and ‘Start Movie’ (among others), with the ‘Movie’ scene triggering lighting, shades, AV gear, and HVAC functions. The media room in this home features 7.1-channel surround sound with Sonance speakers and subs powered by an Integra receiver, and a 130-inch Accent Vision screen with a Sony 4K projector.
