South Burnett Times - - RURAL WEEKLY -

DALBY Rural Supplies has been named the CRT Business of the Year for 2016 after a final round of judging over the weekend.

CRT (Combined Rural Traders) is Australia’s largest group of independent rural retailers, with close to 400 stores nationally.

Greg O’Neil, head of the CRT network on behalf of Ruralco Holdings Limited, said while the competition had been fierce among the CRTs across the country, Dalby Rural Supplies was simply too good.

“Dalby Rural Supplies is an exceptional business.

“It consistently rates highly with customers, suppliers and staff,” he said.

“It has impressed with their wide ranging technical expertise, their constant drive to improve the business and their deep understanding of the needs of the local community.

“The business has been a regular finalist for the Queensland award due to the quality of the business, this year it not only has won the Queensland State Award but taken out the national award as well.

“The leadership John Cullen and his team provide in rural merchandise and customer care is second to none.”
