ANNUAL SPOTS CONCERT

South Burnett Times - - SOUTH BURNETT SCHOOL NEWS -

FRIDAY, September 1, was the night for the annual Spots Concert themed A

Night at the Movies.

The Year 10 business class were excited and nervous as crowds started to come into the hall.

The concert we had been working towards for weeks finally came to life.

The marketing team and product team were busy selling their products while the operations team organised everyone and everything backstage.

Once the show commenced there was an array of dancers, singers, guitarists and other performers who displayed their skills and talent in the hope that they would be voted as the best act of the night. Everyone enjoyed and were entertained by the amazing acts.

Congratulations to Anekah and Kim Hinchliff who were voted best performance on the night.

Shakira Cherry and Jasmin Williams were MCs for the night and they did a great job keeping the audience informed and entertained between acts.

The general manager, Ellen Quinn, oversaw the smooth running of the variety of performances.

Thank you to the Year 10 business class for your hard work leading up to and on the night of the concert.

Without your contribution the night wouldn’t have been as successful as it was.

A big thank you to Mrs Marshall for helping the class plan and to the Nanango SHS teachers who assisted on the night.

Thanks to the performers for their contribution in maintaining audience interest.

Thank you to the local businesses who generously donated financial assistance and raffle prizes, we appreciate your support and generosity in making our concert such a success. — Belinda Spencer
