YEAR 2/ 3 HAPPENINGS
ON Friday, October 27, we had Bandanna Day at Yarraman P- 9 State School to support teenagers living with cancer.
Nearly the entire school was wearing a bandanna. More than $ 447 was raised.
Day for Daniel
IT WAS also Day for Daniel on Friday, October 27.
We have been discussing scenarios and how to keep ourselves safe.
Most of the class wore red, which was the colour Daniel was wearing when he went missing.
IN ENGLISH we have been writing exciting narratives using the language features we have been learning about, including noun groups, verbs, adverbs and prepositional phrases.
In science we are learning about our spinning Earth and how its axis is tilted and why we have night and day. We have learnt that Earth revolves anticlockwise around the sun and we played quizzes to test our knowledge.
We are doing dance groups in art this term. We are choosing our song and then we have to choreograph our dance. We are doing a class introduction and finale.
HASS is teaching us about similarities and differences in communities, between schools and between countries.
The Year 2/ 3 class is very excited to go to the Yarraman Library to study robotics and coding. — Written by Cassady, Karlin, Emily and Dakota
