OUTDOOR SKILLS LEARNT AT FUN CAMP EXCURSION
THE Year 3- 6 students at Wondai State School recently attended a Past, Present and Future camp at the Barambah Environmental Educational Centre.
Students learnt many new skills and had a lot of fun.
Many of the activities were challenging but exciting.
Students panned for gold, completed a steep climb up One Tree Hill, learnt to throw spears, completed a low ropes course, made dampers, learnt about astronomy, learnt to brand and crack a whip, heard stories around the campfire, learnt about indigenous tools and weapons and built some shelters.
