THIS year’s Cine­festOZ Film Fes­ti­val will not only be a show­case of qual­ity Aus­tralian films, it will be a cel­e­bra­tion of film and ta­lent the com­mu­nity can be ex­cited about.

The an­nual fes­ti­val, this year held from Au­gust 23 to 27, will cel­e­brate its 10th year of show­cas­ing fea­ture films and events in the re­gion.

Cine­festOZ Bun­bury events of­fi­cer Jo O’Dea said next month’s event was shap­ing up to be the big­gest yet and she was ex­cited for mem­bers of the pub­lic to ex­pe­ri­ence what was on of­fer, with the full fes­ti­val pro­gram be­ing re­vealed to­mor­row.

“This year is the first year in Bun­bury that we’re go­ing to have a big open­ing night, a red car­pet and film stars ar­riv­ing,” Ms O’Dea said.

“We’ve got the big­gest line-up ever for Cine­festOZ Bun­bury this year.

“We’ve got 19 screen­ings which in­cludes lots of Q and As.”

Ms O’Dea en­cour­aged the com­mu­nity to sup­port Cine­festOZ and Aus­tralian films.

“Cine­festOZ is grow­ing ev­ery year and it’s a re­ally unique op­por­tu­nity for peo­ple to ex­pe­ri­ence premier Aus­tralian films,” she said.

Grand Cin­e­mas man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Allan Stiles and op­er­a­tions man­ager Todd Stiles said they loved sup­port­ing the fes­ti­val and see­ing it grow each year.

This year, tick­ets can be bought through Grand Cin­e­mas’ Bun­bury ticket booths.
