Eaton eyes on reserve plans
Dardanup shire staff have prepared a plan for upgrades to Watson Reserve to be presented to the Eaton Townscape Committee for consideration.
If approved, the plan will be released for public comment prior to council consideration.
Dardanup shire chief executive officer Mark Chester said the overwhelming response from the community was for the reserve to be kept as natural as possible.
“The landscape improvements will aim to honour this objective as well as to consider that other members of the community also enjoy using the reserve for informal recreation such as walking and enjoying the river and surrounding bushland,” he said.
“The plan will be considered by the committee and referred to council for final consideration.”
