Southern Gazette (Belmont) - - NEWS -

ABOUT 400 people attended the City of South Perth’s free National Youth Week (NYW) program of events and activities, which ran from March 31 to April 9.

The NYW events continue to grow and this year included a range of practical handson workshops, as well as live music and entertainment.

More than 150 young people and their families enjoyed the free outdoor movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople at Neil McDougal Park.

The interactive drone and barista workshops were an instant hit, having sold out within days of being released.

People who attended the City’s NYW events and would like to help create the program for next year are encouraged to complete a survey on the council’s website by 5pm on April 28 to enter the draw to win a double pass to Perth Zoo and two Cygnet cinema movie tickets.
