Demons fall to Bull­dogs

PERTH Demons fell to top-ofthe-ta­ble South Fre­man­tle by 60 points at Lath­lain Park in their round 8 clash on Satur­day.

It was the Bull­dogs’ fifth win in a row, lead­ing at ev­ery change to claim a com­fort­able 22.14 (146) to 13.8 (86) win.

For the Demons, Gor­don Nar­rier and Nel­son Ansey both kicked three goals, while Michael Sin­clair was the lead­ing pos­ses­sion-get­ter with 33 touches.

Blaine John­son kicked five goals and Ben Saun­ders kicked four goals for the Bull­dogs, while Haiden Schloithe had the most pos­ses­sions for the away side with 31.

In the colts match, the Demons came away with a one-point win, 7.11 (53) to 6.16 (52).

Perth’s re­serves side copped a heavy loss, 22.12 (144) to 5.4 (34).

The eighth-placed Demons will play Clare­mont at Fre­man­tle Oval on Satur­day as they look to find form.
