Refugee family’s story on rebuilding a life
ONE family, two wars, three countries – what does it take to belong?
It’s the question posed by Constance on the Edge, a film with an unflinchingly honest depiction of one refugee family’s resettlement story in Australia.
The City of Belmont, Town of Victoria Park and the Humanitarian Group are hosting a free screening of Constance on the Edge for Refugee Week on Friday, June 23, at Reading Cinemas from 6 to 7.30pm.
The film gets to the heart of the courage and resilience it takes to build a new life, and highlights the important role communities play in encouraging a sense of welcoming, healing and belonging. Book your free ticket at constanceon-theedge.eventbrite.com.au.
