Southern Gazette (Belmont) - - OPINION -

SOME say that allowing extra gas suppliers onto the WA market will result in fierce gas price reductions. Codswallop. A much better solution for consumers would be to have the gas service account disconnected from your home altogether. Get rid of that extra unnecessary bill.

Have all electrical appliances assisted by solar panels for electricity and hot water. No house really needs to have gas installed.

Fortunately, our house has never been connected to the gas supply utility and we are laughing all the way to the bank.

Better still, we don’t use heaters or airconditioning.

We just rug up in the winter and stay cool the best we can in summer. Works for us. BRAD CAPES Coolbellup
