Mr McGowan’s recently elected State Government has a number of initiatives in place to reduce waste and help the environment – including the Waste Wise Schools program – and is investigating a Statewide ban on single-use plastic bags. “It’s important that we all do our bit to protect the environment and be as efficient as we can be,” he said.
“There is a role for everyone to play in waste management, reduction and keeping communities clean.”
