THE for­tunes of South Perth sides in the Bowls WA Satur­day Men’s pen­nant dou­ble header on the week­end were mixed, with each divi­sion split­ting their two fix­tures.

The Premier League side fell away to lose 82-91 (1-7) at Os­borne Park be­fore bounc­ing back to ac­count for Wan­neroo 82-60 (8-0) on Sun­day morn­ing.

One Blue North ac­counted for Bed­ford com­fort­ably, 102-60 (7-1), but fell just four shots short at Wan­neroo Sun­day, 71-75 (1-7).

Four White started the week­end with a home loss to Pick­er­ing Brook, 77-107 (1-7), but pinched a last­gasp ag­gre­gate vic­tory at Bull­creek AFA, 82-81 (7-1) the fol­low­ing day.

The Women's Satur­day Two Lime side had a tough day at Thorn­lie, fall­ing 18-44 (0-4).

The Fri­day night Red women’s side went close but came up short, 28-32 (1-3) against Cam­bridge.
