A LUXURY $35,000 Hermes handbag was dumped in a drain after it was stolen from the open boot of a Porsche driven by a Belmont woman through the Perth CBD at 11.44am on November 14. “The handbag was visible in the boot, which the driver didn’t know was open,” Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said. It will be alleged a Coolbellup woman (46) in a car behind the Porsche jumped out and took the bag at the intersection of Murray and William streets. A member of the public, who saw the alleged theft, recorded a licence plate which led police to search a Coolbellup home. The Coolbellup woman was charged with stealing and bailed to reappear in court on December 12.
