PLAN NOW IF YOU’RE GOING AWAY

Southern Gazette (Belmont) - - STREET WATCH -

CHRISTMAS holidays are near and people will be leaving their homes for long periods. Residents should think about how they are going to keep their homes safe while they are away. They need to secure their properties from intruders, theft or damage. You can organise to get your bin moved and taken in each week, cancel your newspapers, lock windows and doors, and speak to your neighbours so that you have your post box cleared regularly. CAN you help Belmont police identify this person? She may be able to help with a stealing investigation. If you know her identity, call Belmont police on 9424 2700 or Crime Stoppers and quote reference number 211117 1000 10575. WESLHPOOL TRAFFIC Enforcement Group officers are seeking witnesses to a crash that occurred in Welshpool on November 27. Around 12.20pm, an Isuzu truck towing a trailer was travelling south along Orrong Road. At the same time, a 32-year-old man was also riding a Daelim motorcycle south along the same road. It is believed the truck may have changed lanes in the path of the motorcycle, after which the rider lost control and came off his motorbike. Unaware that an incident occurred, the truck driver continued on until he was advised of the crash by another motorist. He then returned to the scene. The motorcyclist received several injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital. Police are seeking anyone who may have seen the crash, and in particular anyone with dashcam vision, to contact Crime Stoppers. KENSINGTON CAN you prove you own this bike or do you know who it may belong to? Call Kensington police on 9474 7555 and quote 281117 0700 15709/0016.
