THREE brothers from the Belmont area have been rewarded for their talent and passion for baseball by being selected in important squads.

Cloverdale brothers Beau (15) and Kyle Cornfield (14) have been selected to represent WA in the Australian Senior League Championship in Lismore during May.

Younger brother Harley (11) will compete in the Little League State Championship, which will be held at the Wanneroo Baseball Club during the Easter long weekend.

All three brothers play for the Kalamunda Rangers. Kyle said there were two charter teams representing WA, comprising players from different suburbs, with the brothers playing on the Western Meteors team.

“The winner of the championships will then compete in the Little League World Series in America, which is really cool,” he said.

A good bat for the future: Brothers Kyle, Harley and Beau Cornfield .
