Lifeline for domestic violence
CHARITY Starick is holding a writing program to help domestic violence survivors gain confidence and perspective on life.
Marketing and communications officer Jane Cornes-Maclean will run the Lived Experience program at Starick’s refuge in Gosnells in May, with the dates to be finalised. There will be three half-day sessions dedicated to writing and public speaking about lived experiences including loss and hopes.
Starick is a Cloverdale-based charity that supports women and children escaping family and domestic violence.
