Southern Gazette (Belmont) - - NEWS -

MAJOR Crash Detectives are continuing to investigate a hit and run in Rivervale late last month that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

Police officers were called out about 12.15am on September 23 to reports that a four-wheeldrive had hit a male pedestrian on Great Eastern Highway near Fitzroy Road.

The driver of the fourwheel-drive left the scene.

The victim was taken by St John Ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

A man has been assisting detectives with their inquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or who saw the four-wheel-drive or pedestrian before the crash has been asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Alternatively, witnesses are asked to make a report at crimestopperswa.com.au.
