Socking it to everyday challenges
AQUINAS College students had their thinking caps on recently as 71 students entered the annual Aquinas Science Fair.
The students were put to the test to solve everyday problems.
Year 8 student Benjamin Bianchini, who has four siblings, is often confronted with the problem of missing socks.
His Sock Calendar was awarded the Overall Aquinas Technology Prize, while Year 9 student Joshua Turner was named the Overall Aquinas Scientist for 2014 with his project titled the Winds of Change.
Other winners included Year 4 student Joseph Setiawan and Year 5 student Cooper Donavan.
