Adoption magic for all creatures great and small

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Near You -

WHILE one is tiny and one is tall, a giraffe and meerkat have one thing in common.

Both have been adopted by the preprimary students at Como Primary School.

To raise the money for the adoption, the students produced a canvas artwork of an animal for an art exhibition for their parents.

Parents were then able to purchase their child’s piece for $5.

The money raised from adoptions helps to take care of the animals, protect endangered species and pursue ongoing conservation efforts.

Eve Pilatti and Harry Huang show off the class’s giraffe adoption certificate.
