A Jackson Road resident said the planted trees would block his views of the golf course. Julian Stanwix said the planted trees would devalue houses along Jackson Road because, instead of the green views, it would just be trees. “It is quite a pleasant place,” he said. “Lots of people walk along Jackson Road. “They have heaps of room on the golf course, I don't understand why they had to plant the trees along the road blocking views.” Mr Stanwix said he planned to complain to the City of South Perth. Mayor Doherty said the City had received two inquiries from concerned residents so far.
