BRENDAN Balcombe, of Kewdale’s Aurora Electrical Service, is the 2014 WA Accredited Master Electrician of the Year.

Mr Balcombe, who began the business 12 years ago, now hopes to take out the national award at the Master Electricians Australia National Excellence Awards in Noosa in Queensland this month.

“It’s such a reward because of the hard work and dedication our team puts in to upholding the values of an Accredited Master Electrician, especially when it comes to safety procedures,” Mr Balcombe said.

“The strong culture within our organisation, alongside the strong support from MEA, has ensured the right procedures are in place every time, both in admin and in the field, and it’s this constant strive for excellence that’s given us the opportunity to take out the title.”
