DESPITE repeated warnings for car owners or passengers not to leave items of value inside when unoccupied, we are still seeing property stolen. Most of those cars broken into have been parked in a variety of locations. Areas to avoid are backstreets and remote areas of car parks. At the same time, no area is immune to theft. Avoid leaving any valuables inside and ensure the alarm is activated. Wallets or purses containing credit cards are easily fraudulently used in a short timeframe. If you have been a victim of crime, report it as we can deploy our resources into those areas most affected. Hopefully positive results will follow.
