CROWN Metropol Perth won a ma­jor award at the AHA Na­tional Awards for Ex­cel­lence held at Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast. The ho­tel won Over­all Ho­tel of the Year for the ac­com­mo­da­tion di­vi­sion. AHA (WA) chief ex­ec­u­tive Bradley Woods said peo­ple were in­vest­ing in Perth and re­gional WA and they were be­ing recog­nised for their ef­forts. North Perth’s The Class­room was awarded the na­tion’s best bar pre­sen­ta­tion and ser­vice, and Murphy’s Ir­ish Pub in Man­durah won the Out­stand­ing Com­mu­nity Ser­vice and Achieve­ment Award. “Crown Metropol Perth was the big win­ner for Western Aus­tralia, tak­ing out two awards with their venue be­ing recog­nised as ‘Aus­tralia’s Best Re­de­vel­oped Ac­com­mo­da­tion Ho­tel’ and the pres­ti­gious ‘Over­all Ac­com­mo­da­tion Ho­tel of the Year’,” Mr Woods said.
