SOUTH Perth agency Bourkes picked up two major accolades at the Real Estate Institute of WA’s Awards of Excellence.

Sales executive Chadi Damouni won the Achievement Award, which recognises excellence among newcomers to the industry in the residential or commercial sectors, including sales and property management.

Master of ceremonies Paul Martell told the audience Mr Damouni had shown a dedication to being mentored, attention to detail and interpersonal contacts, and sions.

“Successful in his own right as a sales representative, our winner quickly surpassed office targets for income but keeps his feet on the ground with volunteer work and community fundraising,” Mr Martell said.

Office manager Gaynor Head was named Corporate Support Person of the Year.

“She is the first person into the office each day to open the agency and prepare for the day and it’s been this

savvy business deci- way for 13 years,” Mr Martell said.

“But beyond the punctuality and work ethic is the excellent go-to role this person plays in helping new and existing staff to have a touchstone of reliability in a fluid and changing environment.

“Our winner is always available to help the sales staff with urgent issues and small crises, often at weekends.”

The company was nominated for two additional categories – the Innovation Award and Property Manager of the Year (Nicole Milanko).
