Sarah’s double dose of passion
KENSINGTON’S Sarah Henn has two passions – finding a cure for cancer and fundraising for cancer research – and combining these is what she does best.
Later this month, Ms Henn will take part in the Relay For Life Curtin 2014 as Team Development Leader. Her role involves recruiting as many teams as possible in the lead-up to the event to raise funds for Cancer Council WA.
“I love getting to know the teams,” she said. “It’s great being able to help them fundraise.”
After graduating from her studies and being awarded the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists Gold Medal for being the top graduate in laboratory medicine, she is now doing her honours.
