REBOUND EXPECTED AFTER FALL

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Residential -

SALES REPORTED sales by REIWA members in theSouthern Gazette area for the four weeks to September 29 were down 17 per cent and this was due primarily to a fall in reported house sales.

This comes after a period of relatively stable activity over the past two months.

However the local result is not surprising because reported sales for the overall Perth market were also down 10 per cent for the corresponding period. September is traditionally a softer sales period, but activity is expected to rebound in October.

Locally, the top five selling suburbs are unchanged, with Rivervale rising to the top with solid multi-residential pre-sales.

But Cloverdale has displaced Burswood in the top five listing suburbs as local listings for sales increased by 4 per cent over the past four weeks.
