Rich rewards for keen Show exhibitor
ASCOT’S James Pritchard (7) is on to a winner, entering multiple Royal Show competitions and using the prize money to fund his show fun.
James had 29 entries in the Perth Royal Show this year across the fields of poultry, pet cat, cookery, creative craft and cavy competitions.
“He has really got the competition bug,” mum Victoria Cayley said.
“He has worked out there is prize money involved and he uses it to buy showbags,” she said.
James’s enthusiasm has already paid off, as he won first prize in the junior section of the Creative Craft competition for an article made entirely from recycled materials.
He also enjoyed success in the pigeon and poultry competitions, winning an RAS certificate for the reserve champion junior exhibit.
