Pizza app rakes in the dough

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Business -

FOLLOWING the launch of world first initiative Pizza Mogul, Victoria Park local and university business lecturer Jeremy Lu made over $13,000 in just four weeks.

Powered by Domino’s, Pizza Mogul is a responsive website and mobile app that allows customers to create their own pizza, identity and branding, share with their social networks and earn a cut from every sale.

Mr Lu said he loved using Pizza Mogul to test his entrepreneurial skills and creativity.

“I first found out about Pizza Mogul when I had to personalise a pizza order for my friend who is allergic to cheese, and as a teacher the idea intrigued me,” he said.

“One thing led to another and suddenly I had a few extra thousand dollars in the bank!

“Domino’s have found an interesting and engaging way to expand the brand and open up the world of casual fast food experiences.”

Jeremy developed a menu of over 100 pizza creations under the profile of #for_pizzas_sake (https://www.piz u/#!/mogul/for_pizzas_sake).

He has donated 15 per cent of what he has made to the School of St Jude Tanzania charity.
