Prime material for comedy musical

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Stage -

AUSTRALIA’S Prime Ministers are an interesting group of characters so there was a lot to work with when Canberra songwriter John Shortis penned production PrimeTime. The cabaret show with a difference is part of the Curtin Family Home annual program and includes songs about all 28 Aus- tralian Prime Ministers. Shortis on keyboard and Moya Simpson on vocals will take audiences on a light-hearted historical trip through these politicians’ public and private lives. PrimeTime is at the State Library of WA Theatrette, 7.30pm, Wednesday, October 22. Tickets at www.trybooking.com/FWQL.
