JOIN IN THE FUN OF TELETHON AUCTION

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Residential -

THE 2014 Eden Beach Telethon Home by In-Vogue will go under the hammer this weekend, with money raised going to the Telethon appeal for child health research.

The stunning, fully furnished home will be auctioned on site on Sunday at 11am as part of the Telethon Weekend, unless sold prior.

In a great location provided by Satterley and the Department of Housing, the residence offers ocean glimpses, a landscaped park almost on the doorstep and a pristine swimming beach a short stroll away.

Satterley Property Group chief executive Nigel Satterley said he had no hesitation in nominating the 300sq m block for this year’s Telethon Home.

“Eden Beach is within minutes of schools and colleges, the new Butler train station, highly regarded retailers and more than 50 specialty shops in the Brighton town centre,” he said.

Mr Satterley said the twostorey design was In-Vogue’s ninth Telethon Home, and Satterley’s 16th charity home.

“Last year the Telethon Home in Satterley’s Honeywood estate sold for $700,000, which contributed to the incredible $2.7 million raised toward the Telethon appeal,” he said.

“This year we hope we can raise even more money for this wonderful cause.”

To celebrate the day of the auction, a fun-filled family event will take over the park on Faba Lane in Jindalee from 9am to 1pm.

Among the activities will be a street market, bouncy castle, mechanical surfboard and beach hangout manned by the local Surf Lifesaving team.

Live performances will be provided by the Roving Junkadelic Collective, Free Spirit Choir and Sailor Stilt Girls.

Hungry participants will be treated to delicious burgers, a sausage sizzle, barista coffee and ice cream.

“Come along to Eden Beach and you’ll also get the chance to meet Telethon celebrities joining in on the fun,” Satterley’s community development co-ordinator Lyndsey Stoney said.

“Take a photo with Constable Care or test your skills at the kicking activity station with the West Coast Eagles Community Engagement Team.”

Grab the chance to meet Fat Cat at the auction day celebrations.
