Plenty to en­joy at Se­niors Fair

THE Carlisle branch of Re­tirees WA was formed in 1957, but will hold its first Re­mem­brance Day Se­niors Fair this year.

Sec­re­tary Fiona Tatham said the free event would be held at the Harold Hawthorne Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Novem­ber 11 from 10am to 3pm and fea­ture 50 stalls, a per­for­mance by the Kew­dale Pri­mary School choir and a range of fun games in­clud­ing minigolf, quoits and a bean­bag throw com­pe­ti­tions.

Other attractions will in­clude dis­plays from Arthri­tis WA, Hear­ing WA, Car­ers WA plus a photo stand and a silent auc­tion.

The cen­tre is at 2 Memo­rial Av­enue, op­po­site the Carlisle train sta­tion and a bus stop.
