CITY SKYLINE IN THE RECIPE

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Residential -

Complementing the sleeping quarters are the two living and entertaining spaces, the first of which is the open-plan main family area.

Take in the views of the Perth skyline from here while cooking in the country-style corner kitchen with gas cooking, ample storage and tiled floors.

Stepping down to the games room, which is an extension of the original dwelling, bi-fold doors slide away to seamlessly integrate the outdoors with the family living space.

“I start the day here every morning with a coffee looking out to the jacarandas,” Sue said.

“It was a big factor for us when we bought the place; we walked down to the room and just thought it was fantastic.”

The cottage garden, with bore reticulation, practically takes care of itself.

And along with the undercover spa and lawn space, the back yard is wonderful for al- fresco entertaining.

“It’s been great at Christmas and the summer holidays or when we have friends or the girls around,” Sue said.

In addition, the property is also close to the foreshore and good schools, as well as cafes, restaurants and entertainment.

“It is a super-quiet street with only local traffic. The foreshore is virtually in our back yard and I can walk down once I do the school drop-off,” Sue said.
