Gillian gives back for Levi
WHEN Gillian de Graaf lost her baby Levi, she was amazed by the amount of support and help available to her.
It was a difficult pregnancy and sadly on July 10, Mrs de Graaf’s little boy was stillborn.
But people and support services surrounded the family and with their help she got through the next four months.
She said the support available wasn’t even something she knew of and that she now wants to help those who helped her.
To do this, the former konga instructor will host a mega konga class at the South Perth Community Hall on November 20.
Funds raised will go to Levi’s Gift, a non-profit that supports bereaved WA families.
Levi’s Gift raises funds to provide Huggle Bears, which are receptacles for ashes, and Cuddle Cats, which allow families to hold their baby for longer by keeping the baby at an optimum temperature.
