LO­CAL res­i­dents Karen and Anne re­cently opened new com­mu­nity-ori­ented cafe Manic Espresso in Como.

The cafe serves lo­cally roasted and eth­i­cally sourced cof­fee, Prana Chai and or­ganic loose-leaf tea, along with ex­cit­ing and sea­sonal break­fast and lunch menus.

Take­away op­tions are avail­able, with items in­clud­ing freshly made wraps, sal­ads, sand­wiches, smooth­ies and tasty, raw gluten-free treats.

Karen and Anne pride them­selves on hav­ing some­thing for ev­ery­one and can cater for all din­ers, from business meet­ings to pro­vid­ing a com­fort­able spot to study.

Out­door seat­ing is avail­able for those who wish to park the bike or en­joy a cof­fee with their ca­nine friends.

Manic Espresso is open 7am to 3pm, Mon­dayFri­day, and 7am to 1pm on Satur­day at 27 Mur­ray Street, Como.
