WRIT­TEN by school teacher Richard George and di­rected by Lys Tick­ner at Roleystone The­atre, this adap­ta­tion of Roald Dahl’s iconic book Charlie and the Choco­late Fac­tory is faith­ful to the orig­i­nal, for en­ter­tain­ment of chil­dren and the young at heart.

Join Charlie Bucket – played by St James res­i­dent Sea­mus Har­ri­son – and the other Golden Ticket win­ners on a jour­ney through Willy Wonka’s Choco­late Fac­tory.

The cast lead the au­di­ence on a jour­ney of dis­cov­ery and dis­as­ter as they tour the fac­tory owned by the mys­te­ri­ous Willy Wonka.

Sea­mus has been in sev­eral pro­duc­tions in re­cent years, in­clud­ing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Crown The­atre.

“Charlie is an iconic role, lots of peo­ple have read the book and I hope I can live up to their ex­pec­ta­tions,” he said.
