Kids are safe as houses

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Kensington Como -

CHILDREN from Como can now feel safer walking to school with the first Safety House in the area on Preston Street.

Kari-Anne Stikholmen said she was proud to have her home be the trailblazer.

“It’s good to know you can contribute to making children feel safe walking to school and back,” she said.

Six homes have volunteered to be part of the Safety House program but they are in need of more residents to come forward in the area.

Ms Stikholmen encouraged other families to get involved and contribute to creating a safe environment for local children. Call Yvonne on 0411 689 041 for more details on joining Safety House.
