HORRIBLE WORDS HURT SO MUCH

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Opinion -

IS there anything worse than internet trolls? I had never experienced being “trolled” on the internet before until last week, and I then experienced one of the worst feelings I ever have. After having someone write a really lovely post about me on Facebook, I had some people (some I had never even met) comment on the post with some very horrible words to say about me. I had never experienced this type of bullying and it hurt so much. So I can’t even imagine what teenagers go through every day when their school bullies can also access them at home through social media. Parents, please don’t underestimate the impact cyber bullying can have your children. I am a grown adult and I hurt beyond words. If you think your child is being bullied online, you can get help from au.reachout.com.
