Do you like living here? It’s a little different from where you grew up.

Yes, it is rather grand, isn’t it? I still get a bit lost sometimes, but everyone here has made me feel so welcome that it truly feels like home.

How do you like to spend your time, now that you do not have to take care of your stepsisters or stepmother?

Well, the Prince and I love to go horseback riding. The fields around the palace are so beautiful, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. And I always like spending time with my animal friends, sewing clothes for them and making their favourite things to eat.

Do Gus and Jaq, the mice, like getting to live in a great big palace?

They do, especially dear little Gus. Somehow he always finds his way to the kitchen whenever the chef is preparing a meal.

Do you have any special holiday traditions at the palace?

Every year, the King has the ballroom decorated with beautiful garlands and candles. And this year, we’ll be having a feast for everyone in the village.

I also thought it might be nice to decorate the garden and have a special celebration for all the palace animals.

That way they can share in all the warmth and happiness of the season.

Do you still have the glass slipper your fairy godmother made you for the Royal Ball?

Of course. It’s one of my greatest treasures. I’ll always keep it to remind me of that magical night.

Princess Cinderella, do you have any words of wisdom for our readers?

Well, I think it’s very important to be understanding and kind. And never stop dreaming.

You never know when the most wonderful wishes will come true.

Charming... Cinderella and her Prince love it here in Perth.
