Talk to the animals, just imagine it
THESE budding zoologists are spending their school holidays going wild at Perth Zoo.
The South Perth institution is encouraging parents to register their children into Zoo Crew, an educational adventure day for kids aged from 8 to 13 years old.
Participants can experience being a junior keeper, can learn to talk to the animals or can find out how to save the wildlife in three themed areas.
Talk to the animals: What did the giraffe say? Find out how zookeepers talk and listen to animals and different ways that animals communicate with each other.
Junior Keeper: Get ready to prepare food, but also grab the pooper-scooper. Become a keeper for the day.
Saving Wildlife: Discover the role Perth Zoo plays to conserve endangered animals from around the world.
