TH­ESE bud­ding zo­ol­o­gists are spend­ing their school hol­i­days go­ing wild at Perth Zoo.

The South Perth in­sti­tu­tion is en­cour­ag­ing par­ents to reg­is­ter their chil­dren into Zoo Crew, an ed­u­ca­tional ad­ven­ture day for kids aged from 8 to 13 years old.

Par­tic­i­pants can ex­pe­ri­ence be­ing a ju­nior keeper, can learn to talk to the an­i­mals or can find out how to save the wildlife in three themed ar­eas.

Talk to the an­i­mals: What did the gi­raffe say? Find out how zookeep­ers talk and lis­ten to an­i­mals and dif­fer­ent ways that an­i­mals com­mu­ni­cate with each other.

Ju­nior Keeper: Get ready to pre­pare food, but also grab the pooper-scooper. Be­come a keeper for the day.

Sav­ing Wildlife: Dis­cover the role Perth Zoo plays to con­serve en­dan­gered an­i­mals from around the world.
